We often use the term LGBT+, but strictly speaking, it doesn’t create a separate group because people can’t be neatly categorized solely based on their unconventional sexual orientations. The good news is that those in the LGBT+ people aren’t alone in their quest for equality. Many people who don’t identify as LGBT+ also stand up for equal rights. So, when unfair things happen to someone in the LGBT+ community, a lot of the people speaking out against it are not LGBT+ themselves.

Just as the majority of men actively stand against misogyny in Western societies, there is a significant proportion of individuals of European ethnicity who passionately advocate against racism.
